2008 ALL STAR CLASSIC

RULES & INFORMATION

Pony Tournament Rules will be used with the following exceptions.

Teams may start a game with 8 players. Teams playing with 8 players will result in and out in the ninth position in the batting order.

Teams may drop to 8 players during a game. Teams doing this will result in an automatic out where the lost batter was in the line up. Teams however that drop to 8 players due to an ejection will result in an automatic forfeit.

In the event of a team playing with 8 players, the positions of catcher and pitcher must be fielded.

In the event of an injured player, player may be removed from the game with no penalty. However, if player is removed from game due to injury he may not return to game.

Pony tournament pitching rules will be in effect. Be sure to check and sign score book at end of game to confirm accuracy of pitching.

Full roster lineups and free substitution will be used in all leagues.

Time limits and Runs per inning:

Shetland 1 hr. 5 runs per Inning until the sixth (10 runs in the sixth)

Pinto 1 hr. 5 runs per Inning until the sixth (unlimited in the sixth)

Mustang 1 hr. 30 min. 5 runs per Inning until the sixth (unlimited in the sixth)

Bronco 1 hr. 45 min. No run limit

Pony 1hr 45 min. No run limit

No time limit for championship games. Games will be played full 6 or 7 innings, whichever apply. (Run rule’s still in effect)

All games will be played until there is a winner.

In Shetland and Pinto all extra innings should be treated as the 6^th inning (run rule per inning) regardless of what inning it may be.

Coin flips to decide home team.

Home team responsible for keeping official book and charting in score book innings pitched by pitchers.

Visiting team responsible for running score board.

There will be no courtesy runners allowed.

Gate Fee:

Adults $3 per day

Students & Seniors $2 per day

**Coaches are responsible for getting Coaches passes from tournament officials on the first night they play. Coaches will not be allowed in without paying after there first game without there coaches pass.

In the event of rain every effort will be made to have fields playable or games rescheduled.

Every effort will be made to play all games for the tournament. However, rule changes, bracket format, or modifications may have to be made due to weather conditions.
